Short Everest View Trek will take you to the lap of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), the world’s tallest mountain in the short period of time. You will get to see captivating Himalayan sceneries and snow-capped mountains during the trek. Our Short Everest View Trek is specially designed for those who want to come across the Himalayas and enjoy its beauty but only have limited time on their hand. The trail will include numerous ascends and descends, rugged, steep & snowy paths, dense alpine forests, untamed cold rivers & streams, thrilling suspension bridges, picturesque villages, fine valleys, and forests of rhododendron, pine, & oak. You will get to witness Himalayan mountains like Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mt. Makalu (8,481 m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Mt. Thamserku (6,623 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861 m), and many others along with Khumbu Glacier.

Your Short Everest Base Camp Trek will begin with a thrilling flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The flight will present you with a bird-eye view of Himalayas. Upon reaching Lukla, you will begin your trek towards Namche Bazar, which is the biggest village of Khumbu region. The trail will go through forested path, crossing streams, and villages. From Namche Bazar, you will ascend gradually all the way up to the Everest Base Camp and return back to Lukla.

Short Everest View Trek will take you to the traditional villages of Khumbu region where you will get to see lifestyle, culture, norms, and values of Sherpa’s and other communities. The entire trail has got numerous gompas, prayer flags, mani walls, and chortens. During your trek, you will go through Tengboche village, which has the largest monastery of this region, Tengboche monastery. You will see ancient sculptures, manuscripts, paintings, and antiques inside the monastery. The hospitality and warm gesture of locals will surely win your heart.

Short Everest View Trek difficulty

Short Everest Base Camp Trek is a moderate trek. Even though the trail is short, you will be trekking in one of the extreme regions of the world. You will gain altitude every single day on a quite rough path, and that does demand good physical fitness. We will highly suggest you consult with your doctor before the commencement of the trip to know all the possibilities and risks you may face during the trip. Also, make sure you drink enough water to avoid altitude sickness.

    Arrival Nepal

    You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in the beautiful Himalayan country of Nepal. Our representative will wait for you at the airport with a company name tag. They will then drive you to the hotel for approximately a 20-minute journey. Depending on your arrival time and preference, if you would like to go for a walk and explore Kathmandu, we can arrange that for you. Afterward, we will take you back to the hotel and brief you about the trip. You can then rest and relax at the hotel.

    Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding
