Annapurna

Annapurna region is the most famous trekking destination in Nepal. Every year thousands of travelers trek in this region. The diverse geography and vegetation of this region have created several trekking options from a three-weeks strenuous journey to three days easy and relaxing journey. There is something for everyone. The region has world’s seventh highest mountain, Dhaulagiri (,167 m) and the world’s tenth highest mountain, Annapurna (8,091 m) along with several other snow-capped peaks. Moreover, this region also has the deepest gorge in the world, Kali Gandaki Gorge, which lies between Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Dhaulagiri. The entire region is abundant in lush forests and fertile farmland. In spring, the whole region gets bloomed up with colorful rhododendrons and wildflowers making it even more gorgeous. Likewise, the Annapurna region has several fine villages and picturesque villages resided by people from different communities. Every community has its own custom, tradition, norms, values, language, and assortment, which as a whole makes the region rich in culture & tradition.
