Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most popular and spectacular trekking destinations of Nepal. The trail will take you to the Khumbu region where you will see the highest mountain in the world, Mt. Everest (8,848 m), which is also one of the main highlights of Everest Base Camp Trek. Along with it, you will get to witness several 8,000 meters above mountains like Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), and Mt. Makalu (8,481 m). The trekking trail passes through Sagarmatha National Park, which has been inscribed into a list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Located at a height of 5,545 meters, Kalapathar is the highest point of the trekking, which offers heavenly views of the Himalayas and Khumbu Glacier. You will also hike to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m) to see up-close the glorious south face of Mt. Everest.

Tradition and Culture in the Everest region

You will visit many typical Sherpa villages along the way, cross thrilling suspension bridges, and walk on yak trails that are decorated with colourful prayer flags and mani wheels. The Everest Base Camp Trek will also present you Tengboche Monastery, which is the oldest and biggest monastery in the Everest region. Every year several significant Buddhist festivals are celebrated here. Additionally, this place is also famous for stunning views of Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Everest Base Camp Trek is a moderate trek. You will be trekking in one of the extreme regions of the world where there is no access to roadways and modern advancement. The trial will involve several ascends & descends on steep, rugged, snowy, and glacial paths that do require good stamina to trek on. Therefore, good health and physical fitness are needed to go on the trek. We will highly suggest you consult with your doctor before the commencement of the trip to know all the possibilities and risks you may face during the trip.

    Arrival Kathmandu, Nepal

    You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in the beautiful Himalayan country of Nepal. Our representative will wait for you at the airport with a company name tag. They will then drive you to the hotel for approximately a 20-minute journey. Depending on your arrival time and preference, if you would like to go for a walk and explore Kathmandu, we can arrange that for you. Afterward, we will take you back to the hotel and brief you about the trip. You can then rest and relax at the hotel.

    Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phagding
